uremailhere2001 Technology Equality Feb 22, 2010 2:25 PM Okay, I'm new to this site but, my story below inspired me to find more chicks like me. I'm glad to have found Sugar. I posted the Blog below on my profile but realized maybe I should post it here for more attention. So...here you go. Recently, I was on a new adventure to find a tower case for a computer my boyfriend was building for me. I was discouraged to see so many available yet very small portions aimed at females. My search continued for hours; including overseas markets, etc. I was only able to find a select handful for females and they were less than quality. What's wrong with a chick wanting to be geeky and fashionable? With such a large population of females in the market, you would think they would cater to us as well. I don't want nor feel like I should have to have a black or silver (boring) tower with some LEDs to make it more of a lipstick tower. I want something unique, something personal, a pattern, or something. Throw us a bone here. We have a right to be feminine and geeky. Anyone have any suggestions? I would rather not have to "bedazzle" my own tower to make it mine but, they almost leave it that way.
Zaianne DSLR Mar 20, 2009 12:31 PM I am looking into getting my first DSLR. I've hold out on getting one before because I thought my normal point and shoot was enough, but on a recent trip to Orlando, I noticed that I really wanted to capture a lot more, and at a faster speed and my point and shoot just couldn't handle it. I have narrowed my choices to two popular models the Nikon D90 and the Canon EOS 50D. I want a camera that will last me at least 5 years. The Nikon D90's video capability sounds sweet, and I have heard that Nikon's color quality is much richer than Canon's, but the EOS 50D's faster shutter speed makes it awesome to me too. Anyways since I want something that will last me longer, I need opinions on which company has better lenses and such. Please help me out.
